Mexicans CPI increased up to 110% year-on-year in January of 1983

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Mexico in January of 1983 was 110%, 112 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 10.9%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 1983 is 10.9%

We must highlight the increase of 17.7% in the prices of Miscellaneous goods and services, until its interannual rate reached 117%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages of 8.5%, and an interannual variation of 97.1%.
