The annual variation rate of the CPI in Brazil in August of 2019 was 3.3%, 1 tenth higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2019 is 2.7%

We must highlight the increase of 1.2% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 4.1%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages of -0.5%, and an interannual variation of 4.3%.
