In October, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom fell by 6.98% with respect to October of 2018. In total, 174,299 cars were registered and 2,552,614 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 8.35% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of October is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 31,048, 8.09% less than in October of 2018.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 143,251, which represents a figure of 6.74% less than in October of 2018.
