In September, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom fell by 2.13% with respect to September of 2018. In total, 390,329 cars were registered and 2,565,695 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 7.76% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of September is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 47,074, 21.51% less than in September of 2018.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 343,255, which represents a figure of 1.3% more than in September of 2018.
