In September, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom grew by 7.27% with respect to September of 2011. In total, 403,939 cars were registered and 2,309,714 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 2.79% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of September is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 44,327, 0.56% more than in September of 2011.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 359,612, which represents a figure of 8.16% more than in September of 2011.
