In October, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 14.13% with respect to October of 1971. In total, 110,564 cars were registered and 1,049,111 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 17.97% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of October is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 19,592, 27.13% more than in October of 1971.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 90,972, which represents a figure of 11.67% more than in October of 1971.
