In October, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 29.47% with respect to October of 1961. In total, 48,522 cars were registered and 575,572 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 13.99% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of October is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 7,610, 28.37% more than in October of 1961.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 40,912, which represents a figure of 29.67% more than in October of 1961.
