In March, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 27.4% with respect to March of 1961. In total, 57,942 cars were registered and 536,393 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 4.31% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of March is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 7,370, 12.26% more than in March of 1961.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 50,572, which represents a figure of 29.95% more than in March of 1961.
