In September, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 16.65% with respect to September of 1958. In total, 31,218 cars were registered and 502,739 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 18.76% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of September is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 5,663, 15.76% more than in September of 1958.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 25,555, which represents a figure of 16.85% more than in September of 1958.
