In October, vehicle registrations in Canada fell by 10.73% with respect to October of 1947. In total, 21,110 cars were registered and 215,829 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 1.04% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of October is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 6,050, 26.95% less than in October of 1947.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 15,060, which represents a figure of 1.99% less than in October of 1947.
