In 2018 Sudan public debt was 61,535 million euros 72,673 million dollars, has decreased 3,226 488 million since 2017.
This amount means that the debt in 2018 reached 212.08% of Sudan GDP, a 52.9 percentage point rise from 2017, when it was 159.18% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Sudan debt. It has risen since 2008 in global debt terms, when it was 24,581 million euros 36,153 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 55.76%.
According to the last data point published, Sudan per capita debt in 2018 was 1,472 euros1,739 dollars per inhabitant. In 2017 it was 1,587 euros 1,793 dollars, afterwards dropping by 115 euros 54dollars, and if we again check 2008 we can see that then the debt per person was 645 euros948 dollars .
The position of Sudan, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2018 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 185 in the list of debt to GDP and 75 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
