In 2022 Croatia public debt was 46,334 million euros48,564 million dollars, has increased 5905,462 million since 2021.
This amount means that the debt in 2022 reached 67.8% of Croatia GDP, a 9.7 percentage point fall from 2021, when it was 77.5% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Croatia debt. It has risen since 2012 in global debt terms, when it was 30,747 million euros 39,684 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 69%.
According to the last data point published, Croatia per capita debt in 2022 was 12,032 euros12,611 dollars per inhabitant. In 2021 it was 11,844 euros 13,988 dollars, afterwards rising by 188 euros1,377 dollars, and if we again check 2012 we can see that then the debt per person was 7,214 euros9,311 dollars .
The position of Croatia, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2022 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 123 in the list of debt to GDP and 152 in debt per capita, out of the 191 we publish.
