In 2017 Belize public debt was 1,567 million euros1,770 million dollars, has increased 141192 million since 2016.
This amount means that the debt in 2017 reached 78.21% of Belize GDP, a 7.39 percentage point rise from 2016, when it was 70.82% of GDP.
