The transparency law of Viet Nam has been in force since 2016 and with it has earned 68 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Viet Nam ranks at number 90, de los 111 del RTI Rating. It is one of the countries with legislation less prone to guaranteeing the right to information.
This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
