The transparency law of Dominican Republic has been in force since 2004 and with it has earned 61 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Dominican Republic is now ranked 86 in the transparency ranking formed by 95 countries, meaning it is among those that must improve its laws in order to guarantee access to information.
