Azerbaijan is in 50º place in the ranking of transparency

The transparency law of Azerbaijan has been in force since 2005 and with it has earned 94 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Azerbaijan is now ranked 50 in the transparency ranking formed by 140 countries, meaning it is among those that must improve its laws in order to guarantee access to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
