In Angola, CO2 emissions during 2020 have fallen 4.608 megatons, 18.19% compared to 2019.
CO2 emissions in 2020 were 20.719 megatons, making Angola is the 99th conutry in the ranking of countries for CO2 emissions, made up of 184 countries, in which the countries are ranked from least to most pollutant.
In addition to its total emissions of CO2 into the atmospher, which logically depend, among other variables, on the country's population, it is convenient to analyze the behavior of its emissions per inhabitant. In the table we see that per capita CO2 emissions in Angola, have decreased in 2020, in which they have been 0.63 tons per inhabitant.
Finally, it is interesting to observe the behavior f CO2 emissions per 1000 dollars of GDP, which measures, for the same country, the "environmental efficiency" with which it is produced over time. In the last period, Angola, has emitted 0.1 kilos for every $ 1,000 of GDP, a lower figure than in 2019.
