The latest survey data indicate believers share of Sudan population, has dropped to 99%. As to Islam it has increased, the previous survey recorded 70% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 71% follow it.
Animist Religions is the second most practiced religion in Sudan, accounts for about 20% of the population.
