InMalaysia decreases believers but Islam remained

Islam, with 59.54% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.52%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Malaysia population, has dropped to 99.52%. As to Islam has not change, the previous survey recorded 59.54% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 59.54% follow it.

The Malaysia’s second-largest religion is Buddhism, accounts for about 19% of the population.
