The latest survey data indicate believers share of Japan population, has increase to 88.8%. As to Shinto has not change, the previous survey recorded 76.55% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 76.55% follow it.
The Japan’s second-largest religion is Buddhism, accounts for about 66.08% of the population.
