Animist Religions is the Guinea-Bissau's top religion, around 52.98% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Guinea-Bissau population, has dropped to 99%. As to Animist Religions it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 55% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 52.98% follow it.

Islam is the second most practiced religion in Guinea-Bissau, accounts for about 33% of the population.
