Of the 2,962 recorded suicide cases in 2014, 2,054 were men suicides and 907 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 13.36 per 100,000 men and for women 5.9 per 100,000 female.

Statistics show that in 2014, suicides were the main cause of unnatural death in the world. In Uzbekistan suicide also is one of the leading causes of unnatural death. By comparison, there were 450 homicides in Uzbekistan, the number of suicides far outnumber homicides. For every homicide there were 6.6 suicides.
