In 2014 around 1,060 suicides occurred in Saudi Arabia, 3 less than in 2013. On average, there are 3 suicides per day.

Saudi Arabia reported 3.49 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, much less than the average suicide in the world, of 9.71 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Of the 1,060 recorded suicide cases in 2014, 798 were men suicides and 262 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 4.34 per 100,000 men and for women 1.91 per 100,000 female.
