By 1962, suicides in Norway increased by 46 people to at 286 suicides

Norway has a low suicide rate compared to other countries.

Of the 286 recorded suicide cases in 1962, 228 were men suicides and 58 were women. Men have a high rate of death by suicide compared with women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 12.6 per 100,000 men and for women 3.2 per 100,000 female.
