In 2014 occurred 32 suicides in Maldives, the same people committed suicide than in 2013.

Maldives had 9.25 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, less than the average suicide in the world, of 9.71 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Of the 32 recorded suicide cases in 2014, 20 were men suicides and 12 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 8.2 per 100,000 men and for women 6.77 per 100,000 female.
