Suicides fell in Maldives

By 2004, suicides in Maldives increased by 9 people to at 27 suicides

In Maldives there were 9.17 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, less than the average suicide in the world, of 10.53 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Of the 27 recorded suicide cases in 2004, 15 were men suicides and 11 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 9.62 per 100,000 men and for women 7.87 per 100,000 female.
