Libya - Intentional self-harm

In 2003 occurred 352 suicides in Libya. This year, 13 more people committed suicide than in 2002.

Libya had 6.5 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, much less than the average suicide in the world, of 10.69 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Of the 352 recorded suicide cases in 2003, 252 were men suicides and 100 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 8.81 per 100,000 men and for women 3.74 per 100,000 female.
