By 2002, suicides in Lebanon increased by 3 people to at 106 suicides

In Lebanon there were 2.53 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, much less than the average suicide in the world, of 10.78 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Lebanon has a low suicide rate compared to other countries.

Of the 106 recorded suicide cases in 2002, 68 were men suicides and 38 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 3.1 per 100,000 men and for women 1.67 per 100,000 female.
