Statistics show that in 2014, suicides were the main cause of unnatural death in the world. In Germany suicide also is one of the leading causes of unnatural death. By comparison, there were 1,097 homicides in Germany, the number of suicides far outnumber homicides. For every homicide there were 10.2 suicides.
