Of the 577 recorded suicide cases in 2015, 402 were men suicides and 175 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 13.81 per 100,000 men and for women 6.09 per 100,000 female.
Statistics show that in 2014, suicides were the main cause of unnatural death in the world. In Denmark suicide also is one of the leading causes of unnatural death. By comparison, there were 62 homicides in Denmark, the number of suicides far outnumber homicides. For every homicide there were 9.3 suicides.
