In Bhutan suicides remained fixed

By 2007, suicides in Bhutan remained at 79 suicides

In Bhutan there were 12.36 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, above the world average of 10 suicides per 100,000 people.

Of the 79 recorded suicide cases in 2007, 50 were men suicides and 29 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 13.84 per 100,000 men and for women 9.17 per 100,000 female.

Statistics show that in 2014, suicides were the main cause of unnatural death in the world. In Bhutan suicide also is one of the leading causes of unnatural death. By comparison, there were 14 homicides in Bhutan, the number of suicides far outnumber homicides. For every homicide there were 5.6 suicides.
