Türkiye: CPI goes up in December of 2020

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Türkiye in December of 2020 was 14.6%, 6 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.3%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2020 is 14.6%

We must highlight the increase of 3.5% in the prices of Furniture, household equipment and maintenance, until its interannual rate reached 18%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of -3.2%, and an interannual variation of -0.3%.
