Poles CPI increased up to 9.4% year-on-year in January of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Poland in January of 2022 was 9.4%, 8 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.9%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 1.9%

We must highlight the increase of 5.6% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 14.9%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of -2.9%, and an interannual variation of 4.2%.
