Philippines CPI increased up to 4.2% year-on-year in January of 2021

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Philippines in January of 2021 was 4.2%, 7 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.3%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2021 is 1.3%

We must highlight the increase of 2.2% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 6.2%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Furniture, household equipment and maintenance of 0.1%, and an interannual variation of 2.9%.
