The annual variation rate of the CPI in Mexico in October of 1992 was 14.8%, 5 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.7%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 1992 is 9.5%

We must highlight the increase of 1.4% in the prices of Education, until its interannual rate reached 21.7%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Furniture, household equipment and maintenance of 0.2%, and an interannual variation of 8.1%.
