Mexicans CPI increased up to 28.1% year-on-year in August of 1990

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Mexico in August of 1990 was 28.1%, 10 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.7%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 1990 is 19.3%

We must highlight the increase of 2.3% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 45%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Transport of 0.4%, and an interannual variation of 29.6%.
