Mexico: CPI goes up in August of 1985

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Mexico in August of 1985 was 56%, 23 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 4.4%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 1985 is 35.8%

We must highlight the increase of 7.5% in the prices of Clothing and footwear, until its interannual rate reached 61.9%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of 3.2%, and an interannual variation of 45.8%.
