The annual variation rate of the CPI in Mexico in December of 1981 was 28.7%, 1 tenth higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 2.7%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 1981 is 28.7%

We must highlight the increase of 8.4% in the prices of Transport, until its interannual rate reached 31.8%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Health of 0.7%, and an interannual variation of 31.2%.
