Mexicans CPI goes down to 28.6%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Mexico in May of 1981 was 28.6%, 1 tenth less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.5%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 1981 is 12.1%

We must highlight the increase of 2% in the prices of Clothing and footwear, until its interannual rate reached 28.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of 0.9%, and an interannual variation of 29.3%.
