Mexicans CPI increased up to 27.9% year-on-year in July of 1980

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Mexico in July of 1980 was 27.9%, 19 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 2.8%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 1980 is 18.7%

We must highlight the increase of 4% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 28.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Health of 1.5%, and an interannual variation of 26.4%.
