Kenya: CPI goes up in April of 2017

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Kenya in April of 2017 was 11.5%, 12 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.8%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2017 is 6.3%

We must highlight the increase of 3.6% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 21%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Transport of -0.2%, and an interannual variation of 5.1%.
