Indians CPI increased up to 5.4% year-on-year in March of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in India in March of 2022 was 5.4%, 4 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.8%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 0.5%

We must highlight the increase of 1.3% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 7.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of -0.1%, and an interannual variation of 3.4%.
