The annual variation rate of the CPI in Iceland in December of 2018 was 3.7%, 4 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.7%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2018 is 3.7%

We must highlight the increase of 2.1% in the prices of Transport, until its interannual rate reached 4.8%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Education of 0%, and an interannual variation of -2.5%.
