Icelanders CPI increased up to 4.9% year-on-year in February of 2013

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Iceland in February of 2013 was 4.9%, 7 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.6%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2013 is 1.9%

We must highlight the increase of 11.6% in the prices of Clothing and footwear, until its interannual rate reached 5.7%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Education of 0%, and an interannual variation of 12.3%.
