China: CPI goes up in August of 2018

The annual variation rate of the CPI in China in August of 2018 was 2.3%, 2 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.7%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2018 is 2%

We must highlight the increase of 1.7% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 1.9%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco of -0.1%, and an interannual variation of 1.3%.
