In October, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 3.4% with respect to October of 1975. In total, 138,645 cars were registered and 1,321,972 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 6.46% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of October is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 37,195, 22.93% more than in October of 1975.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 101,450, which represents a figure of 2.29% less than in October of 1975.
