In March, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 12.59% with respect to March of 1975. In total, 114,455 cars were registered and 1,317,313 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 7.02% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of March is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 32,215, 22.37% more than in March of 1975.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 82,240, which represents a figure of 9.17% more than in March of 1975.
