In December, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 66.19% with respect to December of 1974. In total, 112,788 cars were registered and 1,316,629 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 5.39% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of December is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 26,007, 45.87% more than in December of 1974.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 86,781, which represents a figure of 73.43% more than in December of 1974.
