In October, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 31.01% with respect to October of 1967. In total, 87,356 cars were registered and 868,455 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 4.87% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of October is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 13,830, 24.92% more than in October of 1967.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 73,526, which represents a figure of 32.22% more than in October of 1967.
