In September, vehicle registrations in Canada fell by 5.57% with respect to September of 1953. In total, 28,355 cars were registered and 403,856 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 13.68% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of September is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 5,139, 31.79% less than in September of 1953.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 23,216, which represents a figure of 3.21% more than in September of 1953.
